I have made four shots per day for four days now. I have not had one bad result. The BRUA is simple, elegant and functional, basically just what I had hoped it would be… Happy owner.

I am really enjoying the process of learning the Brua, and it keeps getting better. It's such a peaceful way to start the day. Just the sound of my electric kettle. No loud electric espresso machine. I live in my van, and this is surprisingly space efficient. When you have limited space, getting a device that works well and works as decor rocks. I keep it out to use every day. The Brua is so simple and works great out of the box. I actually feel like I have more control of the experience than a traditional machine. Worried about a lack of pressure gauge? Don't be. Just get a shot mirror. I find that's all the feedback I need while pulling a shot. It's been over a decade since I last had an espresso machine, and I would say I started getting the hang of it after about five or six shots. The workflow is clean and concise. I have played with different filters. The one that arrives installed on the Brua is very lovely, but I have also enjoyed the differences between other filters. It's a manageable size to find ; however, you'll need a smaller tamp for some of the filters advertised as 51mm. The piston design is satisfying to use, and the entire device is well-made. I'm so happy with my purchase.

Always looking for a great coffee at home & after a bit of trial & error with different grinds & beans have found a process that works!

Not for those looking for a quick "hit" like a pod machine (errrgh :-b) but worth the couple minutes to make & slight mess ;-) on the bench.

Downside is it's a bit pricey (but extremely well made & looks great), & I had to buy a decent grinder, scales & gooseneck kettle lol.

Stay away from supermarket beans unless FRESHLY roasted & you will be rewarded with great espresso!

It’s simple, elegant, and brews fantastic espresso for a fraction of the cost of a traditional espresso machine. And on top of that it’s a beautiful piece on any counter top. Could not recommend enough for any coffee lover!

After using a different manual espresso machine previously, I expected a bit of trial and error to pull the perfect shot once our brua arrived. I was wrong, the first shot was perfect, thick crema and so easy to use! We use it in our caravan but for the first couple of weeks while it was sitting on the bench I chose to use it many times instead of our Italian espresso machine! Highly recommend!

Firstly let me start by saying i LOVE this manual espresso machine. From its sleek, minimalistic design, to its ease of use and functionality but of course most importantly the extremely delicious espresso that comes from this machine. I have owned the brua for a bit over a month now and have enjoyed every moment of using it and also just looking at it level up my brew bar. Thanks again Newton and well done, I can’t wait to see what’s next 😍

Such an incredible piece of equipment, I can't recommend it enough. Beautiful, sturdy, expertly crafted, and (most importantly) pulls the most sublime espresso shots.
It took a couple of attempts to figure out the grind size and weight to get the best extraction, but that's all part of the fun.
High-tier espresso for the cost of a low-tier espresso machine. Can't beat it.
